Neighborhoods often serve as the heart and soul of a city. It’s often in these treasured pockets of the community where life truly begins.
A new social innovation hub hopes to keep the positive energy and vibes flowing this summer as Fair Park welcomes the latest addition to DFW’s fast-growing co-working ecosystem.
Say hello to the new kid on the block, Impact House.
Using innovative problem solving, collective impact, and a bottom-up engagement approach, Impact House seeks to engage entrepreneurs, freelancers, and community champions who value the role of systemic social impact in today’s business and entrepreneurial landscapes.
Located in Exposition Park, a historic area filled with a unique collection of live music, eclectic bars, shops, eateries – and now, Impact House.
“Our vision is to spark growth in the South Dallas/Fair Park neighborhood by providing resources for budding entrepreneurs and changemakers, with a greater emphasis on the areas of social entrepreneurship, technology, and STEM education” says Benjamin J. Vann, Founder and CEO of Impact House.
Impact House will host its official launch event, the Inaugural Expo Park Art & Wine Walk, this Saturday July 1st from 12 to 6 PM. The event offers a chance to tour the eclectic, new space, explore live workshops and experience food trucks and local vendors. And don’t forget to grab a cocktail or two at the nearby bars featuring drink specials starting every hour on the hour during the event.
